ryan & maxine - The Uninvited
So we have a mouse in our house (courtesy of our Egyptian neighbours. See previous post). Being the karma believing, semi-hippie animal lovers that we are, we have decided against killing it and rather capturing it and setting it free into a field (only to breed more offspring)

ryan & maxine - The 10 plagues of Heathfield
I think Maxine's neighbours must have a Jewish maid(slave) because the 10 plagues of Egypt have struck them. Their pool is starting to grow bullrushes (you in there baby Moses ?) , frogs have made the pool their home and now one of their vermin have invaded our home. Maxine and myself, both being first born, are now putting lamb's blood on our front door...

The last action heroes
Here's the last batch of Political Action Heroes
First up is the COPE doll. You'll notice that this toy is unique in that it comes with interchangeable heads. I don't think the manufacturers knew whether Lekota or Shilowa was the head of COPE ?
Next is the Patricia De Lille toy. Don't let that smile fool you, she is a real street fighter. The toy is armed with a scalding hot GHD (hair straightener). Handle this toy with care !
Thanks to Vaughn and Nathan for the GHD weapon. Just remember I'm taking you guys down with me should the ID find out about this. Let's hope though that the day never arrives where one has to worry about blogs being censored

ryan & maxine - A Heathfield Wake
Maxine's neighbour recently passed away and his funeral was this weekend.
His family know how to throw a party. The wake was no exception.

Political Action Figures - in stores now !
The perfect toys out just in time for South Africa's elections next week !
Tired of arguing with your friends over what politician will do what, for whom, unto whom ? Now is the time to take your battles to the streets ! Print them, cut them out and fold along the dotted lines. They really work !
Each toy comes with their own special weapon and fighting style.
The Zuma doll is a half man/half sanitaryware type cyborg equipped with a machine gun. The test model we got seemed broken. Think the circuitry got corrupted somehow ?
The Malema doll is equipped with tools and is skilled in the art of "hand(tool) to hand(tool) combat". (The makers initially wanted the Malema toy to be a Kung Fu Master but it had trouble chopping a block of wood in two)
The only toy with super human powers of sorts is the Wonder Zille. She is also equipped with a syringe full of the lethal Botox neurotoxin.
There's talk of the later models coming out with voice capabilities ?
The Malema Toy apparently says - "I will not debate you ! I will kill you" (for Zuma ??)
